I want to get the Tonka emblem overlay, but concerned that the FORD lettering will show through since it sticks out on the emblem. Does someone have good close of pictures of there emblems with a different overlay besides the FORD writing? If I have to I'll get the Red Fire back ground with Chrome FORD letters. Or I'll order the custom Billet Badges.

 

yes the raised ford does show through. i have heard of people remedying this by sanding the emblems smooth first.

i have black overlays with the "ford" in chrome so i wasnt worried about it with mine.

Thanks. I spoke with someone else who told me the same. It has to be sanded before applying the overlay.
