Ok I don't know if this has been done before but here is my write-up on how to remove the stickers/decals on the bed. Most guys that have them they are FX4 or 4x4. So I decided to remove mine, in my opinion it gives the truck a much cleaner look.
**Disclaimer**
F150online and myself are not responsible for how any of these steps may be interpreted. Or any damage that is done to you truck.
Items Needed:
Hairdryer or Heat Gun(I used a heat gun on the lowest setting)
Fingernails
Meguiar's Clay Kit
NXT Tech Wax 2.0
Meguiar's Carnubba Wax
First I cleaned off the sticker, just by wiping it down with a damp towel. I then used my Heat Gun set on the lowest setting. You don't want to keep the heat in one spot just slowly wave it back and forth.

As you do this just do it roughly 10 seconds at a time and I used my fingernail to pick at one edge. It took me roughly 30 seconds to get the adhesive to soften up enough that I could peel it back.
I then got it started and pulled it slowly close to the truck towards the rear(or towards the front depends on the end you start on). It came right off if you still do it while its warm.

After I removed the sticker I had planned to wash the truck anyways. I then followed up by claying the area, and waxing w/ Meguiar's NXT Tech 2.0 Wax then on top of that Meguiar's Carnubba Wax.
I think it gives the truck a much cleaner look.
There you go

thanks for that.. i've been thinking about doing that for a while now... im going to do it when the weather gets better... it looks great... except for that beauty mark just under the bed rail caps....
Yeah That "beauty mark" wouldn't buff out

Thannks ShanksI may eventually get a patriot decals one to replace it if you look closely you can see where the old sticker was
, looks like the paint is just barely darker. You really have to be looking for it though to notice it.Senior Member

Yep.. If you like the clean look, but still want something there, since we have the same DSG, I would suggest doing what I did (Below)... When you look at it in certain lights or angles you can't see the decals. was $32 for the set from Patriot Decals... Just gotta email them tell them what ya want for custom stuffOriginally Posted by carolinaboy32
