ok i know alot of you guys have hids in you fogs, just wondering where you guys mounted your ballasts. i have been looking around and there isn't really any good area to mount the ballast with in reach of the wire going to the bulb. pics would be great... i can't figure out where to put them lol

On my truck, there is a hole on either side of the header panel that is just big enough to slide the ballast through. This puts it in the engine bay and fairly well protected. On the passenger size, it's fairly easy to access because it's open. On the drivers side the radiator reservoir is in the way.

This isn't the best place, but it will work for now. I'm curious as to where others mounted theirs too!

I mounted my ballast on the header panel on my 2003 so that I was sure it had good airflow and didn't overheat from engine heat.

I have mine placed/stuck behind the headlights, and then held up with about 5 tie-wraps around the hood stops. lol
