I have a 2001 F150 Lariat 4x4 and I am looking to Black out the exterior. The only thing I have to change is the front and rear bumpers. Looking to stay as stock as I can just want to be able to paint them black to match the truck. Can anyone help me with a style and type to ask for? Not sure if they slip over my existing bumper or if you buy the whole bumper assembly? Please help

 

im going to assume you have a black truck with chrome bumpers?? yes??

If so go get them sand blasted and powder coated black and your done, or snadblasted and lined

 

Yes they are chrome and I guess pricing would be about the same as buying new ones and having them painted? Thanks for the reply

 

yea well your gonna have a hard time finding painted used bumpers and itll run about 40-60 for sandblasting each then maybe 100 max each to powder coat.

 

I have a brand new read bumper for sale in the garage ready to be PTM if your interested. Got rear ended so I bought a new bumper then before I put it on I sold it so it's been sitting in my garage. shoot me a PM if your interested.
