Appreciate it man, Hell the truck has been through about every different look you can think of, but I think I found the look I will be keeping for a while.

Hey man, posted before about how high the truck was, didn't know you had the "stealth" side steps. I guess it's either that or carry around a ladder!!! I was thinking of PTMing my front and back chrome bumpers, didn't know sandblasting and painting was an option I guess. Will those hold up as good as PTM prepped bumpers? I'm thinkin that'll be cheaper than buying used painted bumpers and then getting them painted to match. If anybody knows it would be much appreciated!!!! Again, awesome truck you got there, I'm jealous...

^You might wanna check out craigslist for some painted bumpers. Paint is usually always cheaper than powdercoat. I would call and ask for estimates at a couple different shops on powdercoating the chrome bumpers you have. If the price for powdercoat is less than buying some painted bumpers then do it! You cant just paint chrome though.. its a coating.. has to be sandblasted off.

I guess I thought the bumpers were PTM not powder coated, still will sanblasted bumpers and paint hold up as good as PTM prepped? Sorry for "high-jacking the thread". I have a painter that can give me a break on paint when needed... At least I'm keeping it on top of the other threads

Hmm.. powdercoating is very durable. Its actually baked onto the metal so its not going anywhere. Paint and powdercoating will both hold up for as long as you have the truck as long as its done properly.

All of his chrome was powdercoated. The mirror caps would have been just painted.
