Opinions Please!

Thinking about removing my step bars. The truck is lowered in the rear 2 inches and its a 2wd drive. I almost feel it would give the truck a sportier look if I take them off. It may even make the side exit exhaust stand out more.

I like them, unless its a show truck, I would rather have them to deflect stuff in everyday driving

I think it would look cleaner if you took them off. I am not sure how much they will deflect unless your tires stick out.

I would get your caps on your side views painted to match as well as the grille though IMO.

I actully put a Roush grille in back at X-mas. I have been thinking about the paint thing though to help set it apart. I think it will look cleaner to.

I like the step bars especially with those wheels. The truck is super nice but very dark. IMO the step bars really break up the dark colors and add a really nice line to look at. I have these same steps and I added them for this very reason.

PTM your mirror caps, handles, and valance and your truck would be even sexier

I've always loved your truck, but if it were me i'd take 'em off. Keep it clean!
It's looking sweet as always!

I added that. Keeps some air out from under there and gives the truck a better look imo

I ran some step tubes for awhile and had the same dilemma you have now. I think the truck looks much cleaner with out. I say ditch 'em.

There is an advantage to keeping the bars on. They do offer some protection to the side of you truck from road junk... Especially when it is raining...

In all honesty, if had your cab/bed configuration; I think that the Saleen Sideskirts are some of the cleanest out there! I know that's kind of off topic, but they would provide the protection that jdruzik was talking about. Plus they would be more subtle than the chrome. Maybe paint them matte black to match your front valence?
Food for thought anyway

do it!! You could always just remove one side, see how it looks and remove the other if you like it.
