----yep, 6000k HID in the heads. i bought the hella's because they were very reasonably priced and i wanted to run them year round and not care. i also live in an apartment so no garage for security. they have a black plastic housing so rust isnt an issue and keeps the cost down. i also changed the stock 55w bulbs to 80 watt bulbs. i love these lights because they throw light real far. i have the two outside ones aimed to the side just a bit for deer and other critters.

--------yep, the outer ones are on one switch and the two center ones are on another. these are far too bright, even aimed at headlight height, to run with on-coming traffic. to be honest they are only used once in a while. the HIDS are plenty most of the time. some states require you to run covers, i have heard, on off road lights. to be honest, i love being in the country so i can run my HID high beams and my hella's. in a perfect world it would have a 22inch, double high, visionX LED light bar on it. http://www.visionxoffroad.com/led/xmitterdbl/

I figured with you have 4 8"s you wouldn't be able to have them on most of the time... I lived in the country, but now im in Indianapolis so I only get to run them sometime! I'm wondering if it would be worth it to get 4 6"s to have them in city.. probably 2 Fogs, 2 driving/fogs.. thats the plan anyway

-----i guess you have to decide what you want. my HID's are plenty in daily driving so i wanted off road only lights.
