Lights in grille

alot of people put lights behind the grille and i was thinking about putting lights in the grille instead of behind. i was going to cut out the holes in grille and mount the lights flush .. has anyone done this? any pics? i found a link to a mustang with lights the way i want it.. just looking for opinions and/or pics

they do sell the grills with the cutouts for the lights. but i think they are pricey. i didnt want to change my grill so i just put my lights behind. i would of love for them to be flush, like the way you want em but i would of oinly doine it if they had that mod with my grill

I've been thinking of doing this to my truck as well. I'm still in the planning stages, looking for a piece of plastic pipe that I can glue into the grill to frame the opening for the lights. I got a piece of 6" PVC, but it's a little too small and very thick wall. I'm trying to get a coupler for a 6" PVC which I think will be about the right size for the lights. I'm still not sure how to mount the lights once I get the opening in the grill. When it's all done I want it to look like a factory option. Let me know if you come up w/ a good way to do this ...
