Ok..thats what I thought.
I have a vinyl cutter and am always looking for ideas..but when i looked at the link it didn't look like a vinyl cut out.

I think it looks good but I'd do what your talking about get another hood and make the brows on the hood it would look better without the gap between the hood and light plus it would be a better cool factor due to its custom and hand built

The guys on the VW Forum do this a lot, they call it a "Boser Hood" (if you want to look it up). IMO, on a dark coloured truck you can pull it off with vinyl, however on a light coloured truck (if using vinyl) you would still see the rubber molding around the headlight. That would look really fake to me. A true "Boser" is welded onto the hood.

yup it looks good when its seamless.....i may put this on my project list...like i said hey if it doesn't work out then i scrap it...only down 100 bucks no biggie. I have seen them on the vdubs and the Tundra sorta has that style. I am going to go to my vinyl guy on monday and mess around with some different styles/angles....i'll keep you posted.

you can get the plastic ones i had some on my jetta when i was trying to be fast and furious i have looked for some for our trucks but no luck. kind of gives it a little evil look. these are like the ones i had

I believe you, I just thought that they looked a little too squared off to be for the MkIV.

I guess I don't know as much about eyebrows as I thought

I actually like the look and im actually looking for some for my truck! My truck is a 2008 Ford F-150 Lariat with the "Pearl" white. (It's an off white? Not sure exactly). But does anyone know where I can find some? Plastic or vinal, I don't mind.
