Raptor LEDs

So I saw a Raptor for the first time the other day in the Home Depot parking lot and damn that thing is sexy. It has quite a few LED clearance/running lights. The ones that stuck out to me are the three amber LEDs at the top of the grille. I was thinking maybe I should try installing something like that on my truck but I don't want to look like a poser and I'm not so sure it would look right on a 2003 with a honeycomb grille. Thoughts anyone???

Ya I was thinking of something like that also but i feel as tho it would make the truck look more like a rig then a truck if you know what I mean. If you could find LEDs that would fit pretty streamline and flush with the grill then test it out. Be the guniea pig lol

Yup. It should be pretty simple to mount and wire it up the hardest part would be finding some nice slim led's that look raptoresque.

I have led strobes behind my grill mounted to the brackets for my Hellas but they flash but they are slimline enough to fit between the slits in the grill. Does help much but you'd probably be able to find something on eBay small enough and fab a bracket to hold the light. Don't know how you would feel about drilling anything to mount the bracket there but velco could do the trick too

Thanks alot for the input! Good find on those leds, I'd like to get something with a smoked lens. And I understand what you mean about it looking like a big rig, but I think I'm ok with that lol I love lights

Same here got 4 strobes in the grill a 6 head strobe kit around the truck blinkers custom made into the front of the mirrors cupholder lights Hellas behind the grille and hids in all lights up front(heads Hellas and fogs) LEDs in all lights and soon custom puddle lights under the mirrors and a led strip under each rocker panel to act as a courtesy light when the doors are opened. gotta be seen before you get there right? Lol
