I have a 2000 supercab with 20% all the way around but i saw an explorer with 20 all the way around and 35% on the windshield and it looks bad. Anyone have there windshield tinted and could you post pics? Also how is the ride at night with this tint? I know when its dark and im back out in a dark area i have to roll my windows down, but 35 is alot different from 20. thanks!

 

As far as I know, tinting the entire windshield is illegal. The only exception for tint on the windshield is a 6" band across the top YMMV

 

yes it is, anything darker than 35% in Maryland is illegal also. But you see 5% on everything.

 

I was a little apprehensive about going to dark on my windshield because of night driving and my vision (not the greatest) so I went with 50%. The glare in the day is completely gone and it's great at night too. Appearance wise, it looks fantastic

I've got 35% and I posted several pics of it.

 

i have 50 on the windshield. and if i didn't tell you you would not even know it was there. i was pulled over last august for the tint on my doors and i got a ticket for them but the cop didn't even notice the windshield. i guess i got lucky.

 

I"ve got 5% around and 35% on the windshield.. At night its not to bad once you get used to it. Takes a few days. I still wear sunglasses during the sunny days and its just fine.
