Back when I had 35% on, now I have lighter tint, 50%. I still had the strip on there to make it look like that's all I had if someone looked at it from the inside though and it acts like a sunvisor when the sun is rising or setting.

I just have an eyebrow of 5%, was going to do the whole thing in 50% but they didn't have enough tint. Only complaint with front windshield tint is if you have polarized sunglasses...be prepared to see the rainbow.

I wouldnt go darker than 50% on the front if you have lower than 20% on the sides and rear.

^Have you even been in a vehicle with 35% on the windshield? It is barely noticeable and most of the time you have to tell people it's actually there.

How is the drivability of it with that dark of tint? I've seen some guys with 20% and it's really tempting to go get.

Just got to look around. I found a guy that tints out of his garage and he did a pretty good job on mine. There's a shop where I live now that will do it for 50 bucks. Looks like I might be going darker here soon.

Where do you live at in Indiana??

I got mine done in Lafayette, IN. It cost me $250 to put 35% on front, 5% around, and they had to take off orig tint. The guy has been putting on tint for like 20 years. Does quality work.

Name of the place is Auto Glass Experts

I think they have a website, i'll try and find...

here it is.. Auto Glass Experts

And I know if you get a group of people to go he will give everyone a discount.
