I'm getting home in about 3 weeks and have a plethera of parts to toss on. But I've been thinking, I want to do something with the grille I bought. I ordered the Roush chrome over plastic and was thinking of having it painted black (my truck is DSG and I got the Hella lights) but after doing some looking around, I think I'd like a brushed look better. So, I was wondering if anyone has done this. I would brush the grille and emblems too, but I don't know what to use. My buddy says that brillo pads and stuff like that will be too rough for the plastic and might go straight through the chrome. Any suggestions?
