If you have a modest sized air compressor you can purchase an inexpensive canister style abrasive blaster from Tractor supply or the like for $20, a 50lb can of garnet coarse media for $35 or so and then you can media blast it. It will hide alot of imperfections and give it a nice satin bead blasted look.

if its a good aluminum piece i would really try to polish it up and leave it like that truthfully. any paint you put on from a rattle can is going to fade or chip eventually under harsh weather and sun. if you can polish it, it will look much better than aluminum paint anyway

Its sitting at my home right now until the weather warms up.

I know what you mean johnson, but if i clear coat it and then keep it waxed i think it will be fine for a while
