Front Grill Replacement

Here's the deal.
Two weekends ago, on my way home I hit a deer. I went to the body shop to get an estimate. After the guy told me it would cost nearly 4K to fix the front of my truck and the passenger side doors (someone hit my truck in the parking lot at work, and drove off) the guy told me that they wouldn't be able to get the same honeycomb grill that came on it. My truck is a Lariat and it has the tan honeycomb grill. So now I am going to have a black honecomb grill instead of the tan factory one = stupid looking. (apparently Ford doesn't make that part anymore) For some odd reason they won't paint the black grill to match the color that it is suppose to be.

So now I am in search of a Billet grill to cover up the ugly black that won't match my truck. I want one that doesn't cover up the Ford emblem. I've looked on ebay but it's really a coin toss as to whether the grill will fit right or not once I get it. Anybody have an suggestions as to who I might look to for getting a good billet grill?

Did you try Tasca Ford online. Call them and talk to someone on the phone. If it exists, them can find it.

you can get one of these grilles (lariat chrome edition) from the dealership for $300-$350 but im sure you could find it cheaper online. its a full replacement with a chrome surround (i put my red one on) and the emblem recessed in the grille. the roush grille is identical but it doesnt come with a surround or emblem, but you can get them for $109 on ebay.

If they won't paint it. go to another body shop.

greenbuck50 has a roush grill that he got off ebay. I checked out the seller and I am considering getting that one and using my Ford emblem. I thought about taking it to another body shop, but if i'm going to have to pay money to get it looking right I figure I'm better off getting a grill that looks better. a body shop will probably rob me to paint it. Thanks for all the suggestions!

bigchief, I like the grill you have but I don't really want to spend that kind of money. I have found a couple places on ebay that sale the lower bumper grill peice and have the picture of the upper that I am wanting, but it seems like nobody sales it. Here are a couple examples of what I am looking for.
The grill that greenbuck50 has that is from Roush is a plastic grill. Not to wild about spending $100+ on a plastic grill. It's possible that I am being a little too picky about this though.
