can you just buy the mirror part from the dealer or take one off at the scrap yard and just swap it out?...anyone done this? I am just talking the mirror part and the backing its on. I have power heated. Damn wedding band scratched the driver mirror when i was washing it. Lesson be learned...don't get married!!

 

You can just pull the old mirror glass off by undoing the 4 or 5 clips holding it on. You might have to make sure the one at the scrap yard is power heated too so it has the hook ups on the back.

 

On they Expys, I think it's just in a ball swivel, so you just pull it off. Can't hurt to try considering it's already broken
