Road Armor

Sooo I just found out that Road Armor has been making bumpers for 97-03 150's. I had no clue, and always wished they did. Now I gotta get me one. Is this new to anyone else or have they been making them? When I was looking for grille guards they did not make them, otherwise I think I might own one. Anyhow I was just wondering if they just started making them or what? They dont even have pictures up on the website of what they look like, but it says that they sell them and prices are listed.

Also, does anyone have one already? I would love to see what it looks like

Thanks,
Brad

Heck ya man. I would love to have 2grand to throw down on one of them. My friends dad has one of them on his excursion with the 4 PIAA lights in it, and it looks sweet. I guess no one else has heard anything about it

I have no pics of the his Excursion, but it looks JUST like this one. Same color and everything minus alaska plates and that goofy looking piece of metal behind it.

Ive heard about it. and saw some pics somewhere...but if you dont have the right stance, it look like the heavy steel of a big bumper is weighing down the front end. but it looks good..

That looks freaking sweet! Minus the single piece headlights and those hideous wheels.

They did a much better job with the 97-03 bumpers then they did with the 04-08 bumpers.

I guess it's just me. I can't stand Road Armor/Boondock style bumper replacements. Ranch Hand styled bumpers are the only aftermarkets I've ever really cared for.

i dont know how your truck sits but you should invest in a lift kit first because my buddy put one on his 01 and it kinda sagged the front suspension cus the thing weighs damn near 300 lbs

I'm the other way around. I'm not a fan of Ranchhand style bumpers, but the RA/Boondock bumpers look great.

Anyone have an exact price?

its on their website. below 2000 for the bumper and a little above 2000 with the prerunner looking bar.

Yea man they are a butt ton of money for what they are. I considered getting one, but with a body lift I dont know what the point would be other than for looks. They have like 4 different styles, but the cheapest is still $1,800. You could make one that looks exactly like it for about $150
