gap guards

gap guards

for those of you that have a body lift. did you buy your gap guards or did you make them..how easy would it be to make some. i have had my lift on for a number of years now and have never gotten around to getting any but i think its time...

I bought some and they are pretty cheap.

I'd say for the cost, they are worth the money to buy them.

I made my own. Cost me 8 bucks from Home Depot. Bought a roll of black vinyl stuff, that you would lie on your floor as a mat. Cut it to the desired height & length. I did mine so I could tuck it behind the wells, for a clean look. Looks just as good, if not better, for alot cheaper.

$8 that is cheap lol.....i might have to get a hold of trimble and get his how to..we have stuff at work that would be perfect for it. the protective wrap on the outside of conveyor belting

Yea, that is cheap! But, I seen the gap guards, an wasn't impressed with them. Figured I'd do my own, an make them how I wanted them, an I wanted them to fit. I'm happy.
