Excellent customer service !!!

I didn't want to say anything until I actually had the replacements in my hand (didn't want to count my chickens before the eggs hatched)....

But remember my whole rant about how my Hella Blackout lights failed ? ...one leaked right from the start... then I started this big back and forth game with AutoAnything.com.... so after about 6 phone calls I gave up.... Sealed them myself, never leaked again....

Okay, so here we are "just past" 1 year later, and they had started to peel, or develop "crazing" whatever you want to call it.
Just for the hell of it, I call Auto Anything once more.
First thing I learn is, after all the phone calls a year ago, apparently right as I was giving up, they did aprove a replacement, but the guy I was talking to, said that they didn't have any notes after than (yea, because I gave up) but anyway.

He tells me that even though the lights were "just over a year old" (the warranty period + even though Auto Anything doesn't stock these lights anymore (probably had too many problems with them) that he would try to contact Hella, and see if there was anything they could do.
Of course I was thinking > "Yea' right" !.... and in the mean time, I might hit the lottery for $10mil too.

But surprise, surprise ! The very cool guy from Auto Anythuing actually did call me back, and said that Hella wanted to see a few pictures of the problems with my lights. Pictures ? They want pictures ? Dude ! That's my specialty ! I broke out my favorite Canon... and a closeup lens filter, and Bam ! I got right up 2" from the problem, and I'll tell you what, I was able to fill there monitor with "pure, ugly, failure" !

E-mail the photos, and 2 days later I get confirmation that my new replacement headlights are on the way ! Didn't even have to send them the old, failed ones back ! So that means, I didn't have to put my stock ones back in for 1 or 2 weeks, only to take them right back out when the replacements got here ! That was VERY cool !

So anyway, I got them right here, and putting them in this evening. Hopefully no leakers.... or crazing 1 year from now...

But no matter what, both Auto Anything and Hella handled this situation in a most professional way ! Hats off to them ! And it is totally appreciated !

I'm definately going to send both of them a thank you e-mail, and unlike what I said 1 year ago, about buying from Auto Anything, or Hella, after this excellent service, they have both earned another chance.

good job, they can't know whats going on with the lights positive or negative if you dont communicate. Glad everything worked out for you!
