Tires?

if that was my truck , i would start out by removing of the Fx4 sticker, get super cab side steps or remove yours , remove the fender flare chrome , remove the pin stripe, remove the B-pillar chrome piece and fix the rear bumper

 

I am going to go out on a limb here, more chrome? Maybe scab step bars to they fit the truck better. Level it. Remove the FX4 sticker since it doesn't look like one. Remove pin striping.

Basically, what are your ultimate plans for the truck and its looks, lifted, lowered, etc?

 

The 2" leveling kit is getting put on next week.

 

I seriously don't need no smartass comments had to sell the F-250 FX4 Kingranch.
Wife had heart surgery and didn't have the money.

 

So who was this statement for? Neither of the two people who have responded (myself and IDNC76) have not made any smart remarks. IMO, commenting on the double negative would fall under that category, but I no need to be like that.

Some people like chrome some don't; so if that was direct towards me (which I feel it was) then sorry you took it so bad. The truck looks a little confused and I am sure people could be much more rude or mean to give "advice" I have seen it before and choose not to be like that. Sorry to hear about your wife and glad to know you sold the bigger truck to take care of your financial responsibilities like hospital bills, unlike so many others in this country.

 

First thing I would do, even before finishing reading this, would be to remove the chrome fender trim a pillar trim.

Some HD tails would look nice and maybe some HD heads too.

 

you cant make a thread called "Appearance Opinions Please " , and always be pleased with the responses.

you wanted some opinions, yetti and myself responded , suggesting you lose some of the chrome. I dont see which one was a "smartass" comment

 

if you can see my photos of my truck in my profile that may give ya some idea's i also am losing the little chrome that was left except for the center of my wheels, but the ultimate choice is yours, i started with a plain screw looked like yours only 4 door and now i think my truck looks great, and at 4 yrs old still turns heads and gets compliments, littles at a time you'll get there i am sure. hope everything works out good for the wife

 

I would have to agree with taking some of the chrome off, makes a huge difference appearence wise, I know it did with mine.

 

Loose the stick on chrome definately. Other than a level the next best inexpensive mod would be to change the grille. If you like chrome go with a Roush. It's a dark truck so maybe tint the tails and third brake light. Paint your headlights or get some HD ones. I'd look around this site a while to see what you like. Lots of good looking trucks on here to get ideas from. Oh, and put your big girl panties on when you ask for opinions. You just gotta deal with it! Not everyone likes the same things and most of the time no one means to be rude it is just an opinion like was asked for.

 

here's where i am at so far still tryin to decide if i want a lift, i like the look with just the leveling kit

 

lose the chrome on the fenders and the pillar level it new grill and some bigger tires maybe at's or mt's lose the pin stripe and maybe even the gas cap im not a fan of it

but in the end its your truck so watever floats your boat

 

i like chrome but i dont care for the fender trim and door pillar. i think wheels would be the best thing to get, it will make the truck look a lot better.
im not real good with photoshop but heres your truck with some saleen wheels, just to give you an idea of how much a set of wheels will change the appearance.

You can buy my rims/tires. tires a little warn but can be used for another 10k miles at least.
