Hey ReMike, first off, I think your truck looks great !

And what I really like, is that it is (IMPO) the best cab to bed size ratio ! Go Supercabs

I really like your lower front bumper piece too. Is that Roush ? Where did you get that ? And how much ?

I know everybody else has been telling you to lower it..... But personally speaking, your truck doesn't look like it is trying to be a "lowered street truck". If anything, I'd say just to level it. I like a leveled truck whether it has a 14" lift, or is slammed to the ground.

One more thing..... your badges are already black, and that's cool. But I'd at least get some "slightly contrasting" Patriot decals. Maybe Dark Shadow Gray.... or, if your badges are gloss black, you could get flat black decals. I dunno.... just something to keep them from looking like black blobs.

Anyway, sweet truck man

Peace,
Fish

What no Roush or Saleen grill? Your nuts dude! I LOVE IT! I think this is the only time I haven't agreed with Fish on something of his that I have read but I say drop it. I dont think there is a wrong choice but I think it would look dope lowered. Some DSG or flat black badges would be the icing on the cake, but thats just me. I think you have done some very nice work.

I agree with the others.. a drop would really finish off the street look.

How did you paint your rear bumper? Was it chrome it initially? Thinking about powder coating my rear bumper for a full black and silver look.

Looks good man, impressive!

If you lower it you're going to need different wheels. Those are more of an off road look, not a street look.

Exactly ! What Stealth said.

I guess I've just kind of burnt myself out thinking about the whole "raise it, or lower it" thing.

Ya' see, I lowered my old Tacoma (granted, it could have been done much more professionaly, and probably had a better ride) but that thing beat me, and itself, to death for the whole 10 years I owned it. Won't ever lower a vehicle again.

Now I have my new 08'..... which I will be the first to admit, would look better if it were about 4" or 6" higher, with 35"s.... but that would cost many thousands of $$$ initially, and maybe even more than that, down the road, with additional fuel costs, a few sets of tires during the lifetime of the truck + the fact that it would be a BIG PITA every time I used it to go fishing (which is what I bought it for) and had to get all of my tackle, iceboxes, deep cyucle batteries, etc, out of the bed..... etc, etc, etc.
So, even though it would look waaay better, it won't ever be lifted either.

Just as soon as I hit the lotto, I'm going to build a BIG TALL truck, for nothing but looking cool..... But until then, I need some function, and a little more economy too.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the other hand, leveling is relatively cheap, and easy, and looks great IMPO
Peace,
Fish
