Do they really enforce the rule? I have been i ohio since 2003 and never had a front plate on anything and I never heard a peep. Same with tint. Both illegal. I think if your driving responsibly and not racing around with the radio blasting the cops look the other way. Whats the worst they can do the first time? Warning?
BTW looks great PAW PAW

I have never had a front plate on any of my trucks since I have lived in Texas. The only time I was ever pulled over was on a holiday weekend when they were looking for drunk drivers. He could tell I had not been drinking, so he gave me a "verbal" warning about no front license plate and sent me on my merry way.
I think they only enforce the law when is suites them.
KR-Texas
PS. I also remove my front bracket right when I bring my truck home from the dealer, along with all their personal stickers.
