I see some talk about DSG Inlays and overlays but cant find where to get them anyone know? thanks

 

You tried Patriotdecals.com? I think that's where every is getting them. Good site.

 

DSG stands for Dark Shadow Gray. (The color of my truck) Most members buy their inlays and overlays from patriotdecals.com.

i have a question it asked you for text color and back ground color.. does that mean there not see through?? if so why do we paint them?

 

They are not see through. My overlay background is DSG and the lettering is flat black. The oval decal is not big enough to completely cover the chrome. Plus, it would be difficult to apply the sticker around the edges of the oval if it was bigger.

The outer black oval in the picture is the Krylon Fusion paint, because I wanted to remove as much chrome as possible from my truck.



If you are staying with chrome on your truck, there is no need to paint the ovals first.
