Hey guys, will an 08 Front bumper mount up to a 2006? If so, is it a flush fit or is there any kind of gapping, etc? Thanks

06-08 should be the same

 

Thought i read somewhere they changed the mounting brackets are some point between 04 and 08. Might wanna research that.

 

Which model vehicle are you asking about? F-150, Expy, Super Duty, Excursion, etc.

 

early 06's have the 04-05 bumper. So if you have the bumpper with the big gap in the front you need the brackets. If you have the late 06(NO Problem)

if your 06 is an early model with the big gap and no top bar then youll need the brackets and maybe the backer pad/mounts off of the upper bumper cover on the 08. The upper pad/mounts very slightly but it may work with the 06+ bumper easily. If your 06 has the bumper with the small gap with a top bar then you can change out to the new bumper by just bolting it in.
