I'm not sure about your second question. As for your first, the projector headlights that you get from eBay generally suck. I bought a pair for a Civic I had and they fell apart within a few months of getting them. Even when they were still in one piece, the beam was terrible. It was like having 2 flashlights tied to my bumper. I went back to the stock headlights shortly thereafter. Just keep in mind that you get what you pay for. There may very well be quality ones on eBay or elsewhere, I just haven't found them yet.

1) the light output really sucks, it helps if yoy install HID. You can improve the light output if you take out the metal thing that limits the light. you can only do this if the projector houseing is held my screws, and u can actually open the back. I bought a one piece projector for my 2003, and I took them out and replaced them with black L.

2) Recon makes great products, I havent really heard anyone compalin, except they are alittle pricey.
