Anybody ever painted their chrome grill surround? Thinking of trying it and any tips or "how tos" would be appreciated.

Hit it with 600 grit, then adhesion promotor then basecoat and clearcoat.

Dont waste your time with spray paint, since its the front of the truck its gonna get all chipped up and look like crap within a month if you go with rattle can.

I did mine with spray paint and its holding up great, even with the bugs and gravel roads.

i did mine with duplicolour, and if your going to do it yourself the only thing that i can advise is to not add clear coat. the paint is holding up fine, but the clear is starting to peel.
