Mine were easy, couple of screwdrivers working along the edge, started at corner and work around. Cleaned out old gasket material and the sealing area as best i could with alcohol. For reassembly, this is probably whats going to get me in the end lol. I used some cheapo black RTV silicon from OReily's, filled the grooves up with it and put the lenses back on. Overnight cure with some weight on top to make sure they were tight.

The only area to get messed up was the first rib. I read through some posts here and used some 3M painters tape, adhering it to cloth several times to get the adhesive wore down. Only chrome flaking occurred on the outer rib of both lights, so instead of wasting more money and time trying to fix it i just decided to paint it.
I've got one light that likes to condensate a little so I may take them apart and do this. Nice job and thnx

I need to do this. I know I'm going to mess it up though. Where can you buy the fusion paint?

OReily's has it too. Drove around tonight, no decrease in light output. So far so good.

I want to do this and my headlights, but have some issues with putting parts of my truck in an oven...I know it would look killer on my ride, but I'm still trying to bring myself to doing it.....Maybe someday!

Well, The fogs i did not have to put in the oven. Since i have no oven i found a good deal on the hella blackout headlights.

Nope 2 flat head screwdrivers. Prying gently around the edges, letting the upward force separate it. Residue leftover was not bad, easy clean up.
