Blueish turn signal bulbs?

i have seen a lot of people with these blueish turn signal bulbs and i think they look awesome. does anyone know what they are called or recommend any brands. I have a set of pilot fog lights that look kinda blue when they are off. i would like a set of bulbs to match

the ones i have are sylvania silver star i think. i got em at autozone for under $15 and they have lasted for over a year so far. they flash amber but when they are off they look sorta blueish/purple. you cant see em real good in my pics because my headlight lenses are scratched up but ive seen other trucks on here with these same bulbs and better pics.

Do you want them to be blue looking only when they are off, or blue/whitish all the time?

Blue only when off = Sylvania bulbs like the ones above.

Blue when off, shining a whitish blueish light when on = probably ebay bulbs. Not sure how much or how legal they are.

I also have the Sylvania silver star bulbs and like them. Legally turn signals in the front have to flash amber.

I got mine on today...I love the look way better than stock. The amber flashers are real dull. Anyone else?

i just got all clear ones at autozone today. that's weird.

bulb/parts number is 3157 on 'em!

again, i didnt get the blue (cool blue/silver star or whatevers) but mine are clear. just go into autozone and look for 3157 on the package, they have them in the cool blue im sure.

p.s.- anyone else noticing the roush grille and clear/blue bulbs thing?? crazy.

The reason- they are illegal- ypu- can't even show a blue hue with the light off- reserved for cops only per fed regs!

that's not true. they're 50 state legal from what i remember.

HID's are illegal, is that what you're referring to?

The Silverstar bulbs are legal because they glow and flash amber. The blue bulbs that glow or flash blue are illegal. I'm not sure if clear bulbs are legal or illegal.
