Painting my bumpers and grille

Ive been thinking about getting my front and rear bumpers and chrome grille painted, but dont know how much $ im looking at. I'm wanting to keep it the same color as the body but not too sure how labor intensive painting chrome is. I will be getting a body shop to do it, so i guess what im asking is has anyone had this done and what were your experiences and how much it cost you. Oh and I was also entertaining the idea of powder coating but not too sure they will be able to match the paint as well.

powder coating runs about $150 a bumper and they should be able to match your paint

thats alot cheaper than what i had in mind, a guy also told me today that he thought he was quoted less than $100 to powder coat some rims. so i may get the rims done too. kinda getting excited cuz this is in my price range. just trying to figure out which will be better.

$100 a rim? i would jump all over that deal. I was quoted $200 a rim plus i had to have the tires and valve stem taken off for the baking process, yeah $1000 to have some white wheels.

Powder coat wheels?

Hey Screw-me-05,
I saw on another thread somewhere that some powder coat companies don't like to do wheels because of throwing them too far out of balance. Did you have any problems?
(By the way, I'm usually a black out guy, but I really like the way your truck looks.)

If it was any higher it would be hilarious to watch her try to climb into and I would have to film and post on youtube lol
