Bought a set of 09 OEM flares off ebay, good deal?

I have an 09 XLT but really liked the low profile factory flares on the higher-end models. IMO, they give a better finished look to the truck as compared to nothing at all. I ordered a set of Bushwacker Street Flares a while back but after waiting over a month, I recently found out they are not scheduled for production until this fall maybe. The Bushwacker Street Flares look very much like the factory flares so I figured I'd be patient and wait.

A few days ago I stumbled on a set of new take-offs from an 09 listed on ebay. Paid $169 for the entire set supposedly in new condition. I'm figuring they're a lot more ordered new from the dealer.

They'll have to be painted to match but I have access to a booth and spray equipment. $169 seemed like a great deal to me if they really are in new condition.

Sounds like a good deal to me if they are the oem take offs. Because when I had two of mine replaced under warranty, the dealer said they was $140 a piece with the hardware.

Got the flares today via FedEx. The flares are in perfect shape, no scratches at all. I'll be painting them to match anyway but I'm super happy about this deal.

Looks like I'll be able to mount them without drilling any new holes. I'll try some 3M mounting tape on both the underside of the fender and the outside mounting tabs. I'll need to get the thicker tape for the outside tabs because they're recessed a little but looks like there is plenty of surface area to hold everything secure without drilling.

I cant believe what they cost from the dealer. I thought maybe they were fiberglass but they are just thin thermoformed plastic.
