Set of N-Fab Steel Nerf Steps

Hey guys, I'm NOW in the market for a new set of side steps. I pulled into a business today where they had a SH**Y parking places. Had to pull half in grass/half in gravel. Well when I left I pulled back into gravel then cut the wheel to pull back onto road... when all the sudden my truck rocked real hard and I heard a BIG SCRAPING sound... then seen a GIANT rock in the mirror that I had just ran over. Needless to say, it only managed to take out my side step.. basically cut the bottom of the tube in half. LUCKILY it didn't touch the truck. Pushed the step all the way up to the door, but I can still get in and out of it.

I"ll Post some pics when I find my camera.

Well Now that I am in the market, I have been wanting a set of the steel nerf steps.. like these

I know N-Fab, Smittybuilt, and GO Rhino makes a set of them. Looking for stainless steel set. Anyone know any place to find a decently priced set. Or have any of you that own these have anything to say about them?

And to make things even better... I had my summer rims put back on the truck today, well the tire place put my old rims back in my bed, and they shut the cover. Well It looks like they needed back in, so they used my key, but didn't hold the key's and when they turned the key to unlock it, the other key scratched the paint and chipped a piece... Truck has been through HELL today...

And you are going to make them fix it, correct?

Sorry to hear about your bad day. I love the looks of the steps - unsure where to get them for a "good deal" as they are pretty pricey (but worth it, looks-wise). Good luck

i was going to get mine off 4-wheelparts.com but since i wanted the wheel-to-wheel version , they throw on a a $125 freight charge b/c they are so huge/heavy.

4wheelparts had them for $375 + $125 = $500

i went to a local shop and got mine

local place had them for $450 + tax = $480

its all preference but
i think the wheel to wheel look better

cab length just stops at the rear door , its only a 6 inch difference between cab vs wheel to wheel

you can also get a the 6 step version , for another step into the bed

heres the best pic of mine i have, i love my n-fabs they have that off-road look and they are different from what the majority of trucks have

i think N-Fab / smittybulit are the only companies that make the wheel to wheel , if your looking for the cab- length ones , Go-Rhino has steps called dominator-2 which are less expensive

So I was looking into the Smittybilt and N-Fab, haven't made up my mind yet, both wheel-to-wheel, N-Fab's run about $50 more after shipping its looking like... $520-570

I've found the smittybilt's on a couple websites, one says drilling required, one says it doesn't... you guys messed these?

And do you use the same bracket that my other steps were on, or do the nfab's or smittybilt's have their own brackets to mount to truck.

I'm pretty sure that they'll only mount in they're own brackets. I have the N-fab steps on my truck and have been very happy with them. I'm actually thinking about having them Line-Xed. I'll see if I can get some pics posted.

Hey man,
Try RimZoneOnline.com. I think you can buy from them as well. I think they are a decent price.
