Awesome! I agree with molding it, painting it silver to match and leaving the mesh black.

EDIT- Actually, everyhing about that truck is nice. The L grille, Harley valance, the stance... Not a big fan of chrome lipped wheels but they look good too. Very nice truck!

At first I was thinking of some fancy looking Lund hood scoops, but wow, that looks good. I would have mounted it a little farther back, but thats just me. You gonna paint it?

Thanks for all of the comments! I am actually going to buy a few more vents since they are only 36.00 from Ford!!! I am going to try some different paint schemes and look for another hood on Craigslist and have someone mold it in.

I used a 3" cutting wheel to do this. The outer skin is thin but the inner is thicker and it was easier to do with air tools. I will take some pics of the underneath. The underneath looks ok but I am going to spend some more time on it and try my best to make it stock looking. This mod was easy to do as long as you take your time making a stencil and taking measurements.

I almost like it back further too. Something like this. But also what about water? would it mess with anything under the hood?

ya that would drip right over the plenum. im sure you could make something to channel the water off to the side or something though
