Hid help!!!!!!

I have a 08 F150 FX2 5.4 Crew cab. I installed my kit and when my fogs are on and I switch to Hi beam on the HID they wont turn off. When I turn my fogs off they work fine. I called the people that made the kit and they said to try getting on the forums and check cuz he can't remember what the fix was cuz it only happened one other time. He also said that it has to do with the way the 08 150 was wired cuz it's the only year that did it. The kit wasn't cheap and it's a well known place. Anything to help would be nice.

For a 08 150 is this all the same??? Is it still in the same spot(the relay and box)

Behind the passenger kick panel on your late-model F-150 is your fuse box. Pull the access cover off, locate the relay in the top center and pull it out.

Follow those instructions and report back with your findings.

I would check with Autozone or something similar and see if they have the type of relay you're looking for.

I think I read that they did away with the middle prong in the later model years. Could be wrong, though.

Jon, I can only think of a couple reasons causing your high beam not coming back down to low beam.

I don't remember you've purchased our HID kits. If it is try the 4 possible polarity setting (reversing diodes, and remove the jump cable).
If it's not our kit can you take a picture of your HID bulb, ballast and relay.
The other thing might causing this to happen is your Bi-Xenon bulb is malfunctioning. But I very much doubt this is the reason.

If you want you can call me at 866-857-0005 ask for WIL. I'm in the office from 12PM~6PM PST.

Last question does this happen to both of your HID bulbs? If it is it's definitely your polarity setting.

Thank you very much on the offer of help I will give you a call Monday if I dont get this figured out by then. If by Bi-Xenon you mean halogen it's not hi and low are both HID. This is not your kit and my problem ONLY happens when my fogs are on. When the fogs are off then go from hi to low just fine. for some reason it has to do with the fogs being on or them shutting off and I had one guy that had the same problem and he told me to go to a sight and buy there resistor kit but the sight doesnot work any more so I asked him how he installed the kit to give me a better idea on how he fixed his problem. Like I said I will give you a call on Monday and see if we can get this thing figured out. Thank you again!!!

My relay did not have the center post either. Just bend down that tab and you're good to go.
