Blackout headlights

Do you think there is much of a difference betwen the $100 ebay blackouts, and the $250 hella blackouts for 04-08?

I have heard both have the possibility of leaking, but if you silicone them then they are fine.

I've seen the lenses on the Ebay cheapo's change color. They get a yellowish dirty look to them. You might be able to avoid that by using some kind of protectant. IMO I would go with a name brand like Hella, they seem to know what they're doing.

just was not sure if your paying for the name with "hella". But if cheapos turn color i will stick with the brand name.

Thanks for your input

Thats what I was talking about when I said some kind of protectant. How long have you had yours? I was looking at the ones you bought and then I saw the ones I was talking about.
