Recommend some fog light bulbs for me.

I recently bought some fog light housings for my truck.

Before

After

They have no bulbs. My truck also came with no wiring for fog lights, so I am going to have to wire it all up myself, not a problem.

Considering I still have the stock headlight bulbs, I'd like a light that somewhat matches in coloration, or I could just replace them while I'm at it.

So, now to the question. What fog lights would you all recommend I get?

I would assume so, but are the stock bulbs for the square fogs the same as the ones for the round fogs? Let me know by tomorrow .

08 F150 lights, Sylvania, says 9140.

05 F150 lights, Sylvania, says 9145 or 9145ST.

Hmmm, Just put some 9145 fogs in mine. So if a 9145 works in an 05, and fit/work in an 08. I'm guessing stock 08's will work in an 05.

Bring an extra $10 tomorrow and you can have my stock fog bulbs if you want em.

So they are interchangeable. I suppose they have the same identical housings, just a different bulb. I have $10 laying around.

I've heard you can also put 9005's (or is it 9006?) in there. If you're wiring them up yourself, just make it a thicker guage wire to handle the 65W bulbs.

Why not just put HID's in the fogs and call it a day? www.vvme.com I just got some Bi-Xenon heads in 4300k and they are flawless for the price.

I got some bulbs from LonestarROB. They're practically brand new.

You mean why I had no fog light housings? My wife wrecked my truck. I had chrome bumpers w/o fogs. had to replace it. I got a black painted one w/fog holes, just had to wait for the right deal to come up on the fogs.

Looks good. What's with the tow hooks on a 4x2, or did you just add them?

Yes. Plus they fill the void created by the Roush valance.

Besides, it is a truck.
