I have a 2006 F-150 XLT...does anyone know if you can get a Chrome Grill insert that looks like the one's that go on the FX4 models? I have seen the Billet stlye that go over the honey comb grill, but from what I've been able to find, you cannot get the "bar" style.

Anyone ever seen this type of insert?

 

bko6f150, I haven't seen a chrome replacement but there is a chrome overlay that is available. Don't know if that is what you are looking for.

One Ebay there are chrome FX4 grilles for sale that are aftermarket. The surround in carbon fiber so if you want an all chrome one, you need to use a factory grille surround. Other then the overlays that js04screw mentioned, those are the only ones that i have seen. I myself have been looking for a PTM honeycomb grille. The ones I find are pricey. I have one with the chrome surround right now but the previous owner broke it on the bottom. Luckly, the billet overlay that is on it covers it but since my truck is black and I put black headlights on it, I want it to blend in. Good luck on your search.

 

The overlay is exactly what I'm looking for. When you say overlay, I'm assuming you mean one that will snap right over the honeycomb grill? If so, that is what I'm looking for..where have you seen that?
