Problem with my hids

I installed my hids over the weekend and I am having a slight problem. My low beam on the passenger side blinks out after a few seconds. I tried running a jumper wire from the driver side to the passenger side. I was told that the wire may not be big enough to carrry the power to run the ballast. Does anybody have any ideas? Does that sound like i have a bad balllast?

Yes I have the low beam kit. I tried bypassing the small low beam power wire with a bigger gauge power wire but it still only stays on for just a few seconds then goes out. The high beam works just fine but just no low beam.

I used the provided wiring harness and ballast. If that's what you mean.

You should do two things.
First, switch your HID bulbs left to right, see if the blinking follows to the driver side. If the blinking stays on the passenger side then swap the ballast.
By doing the above steps you should be able to determine either the HID bulb or the ballast is bad. If for some reason the blinking stays on the passenger side then it should be your truck.
