Roush Hood Scoop Question

I recently movied my roush Hood Scoop to another truck and no longer have the template.

Im guessing I should just use a pice of card board and lay the scoop on top with the screws and push down throught the card board and trace it then cut it and use that as a template? Can anyone tell me if that should work ok? Also were the instructions say to place it on the hood?

Ive t hought about just using two sided tape but cant talk myself into it. If anyone used just 2 sided take what brand did you use?

When I tried to download the pdf file from roushs website to see were I should place it on the hood the Installation Instructions link is broke for the F150.

Thanks guys!

I'd call Roush and have them email you the instructions.

ditto. also see if they can send you the tape kit. the scoop is both bolted ( so it dont lift ) and taped ( so water doesnt get underneath and start rusting the holes )

Call or e-mail Roush, they'll send you a free template. I have a Roush scoop on my truck and I had to replace the hood a couple months ago. I didn't save the template the first time, I just e-mailed them and they sent me a new one.

Well that was a waste of time. I e-mailed asking to "buy" the template and tape. However they told me I had to buy it from a local dealer. Thats stupid having to drive and find a dealer then charge me an arm and leg for a piece of paper and tape. THe tape is NP but would be nice to have the template. I guess I'll just eye ball it when I get it back from being painted. Since its to much trouble for roush to send me a piece of paper. If they cant send me a $1.00 piece of paper I dont think I'll be buying anything else from them in the future.

Im surprised they didnt charge me to send the Instruction throught the e-mail.
