New FX2 Grille

I got a used FX2 grille off a member on here. Its painted dark shadow grey, should i repaint it black? My truck is white, door handles black and such.

Is there any prep i need to do, its a plastic grille, maybe light sand, paint, and clear it? What type of paint? I dont want a high gloss black, maybe a semi gloss?

heres a pic of the truck without the grille

I would probably leave it DSG. It looks great on my truck but I have an FX4 luxury so it goes with the theme.

the pictures that i posted are what the truck looks right now.

My question was, im getting ready to put the FX2 grille on there but its DSG, should i paint it the same color as the grille i got on there or leave it DSG.

If i should paint it, then how ad what do i use to paint it.

Black since your bumpers are ptm and almost everything not white is black. Would flow better. Nice truck, I love white.

I think DSG and white would look super sharp together, only problem would be finding all your other mods to be DSG. Hit it with some black! Do a light 400grain sanding with alittle bit of water to keep things from heating up. All you need to do is just etch the surface so that the new paint will have something to hang onto better. I would do that and then hit it with a flat black, come back over with a clear coat finish. But if you wanted something not so shiny go with a semi-gloss.

If i do flat black, will the clear coat add a little shine to it?
