Sorry about the hijack. :o
Nice.

I hated the fact of a small dog. I was always raised around labs. My wife wanted one so I caved and I would never look back. She is the most loyal dog ever. Goes everywhere with me. Sleeps with me.... Kind of pathetic on my part....

We have a small yard and we tried a 60 pound or so dog, didn't work so well so we gave her away to a family with a bigger yard. Small dogs are the way to go for us. Growing up I always had a German Shepherd, so I had to stick with the German lineage. The black and tan is Jager, the red chocolate is Zander, and we recently gave them the boot from the bed. They sleep in their crates at night now. We also have a rat terrier and a chihuahua. Our largest dog weighs about 13 pounds.

We had them in the bed, but they are too fidgety. Jager goes under and runs out of air after a while then plops on top of the covers and repeats, a vicious cycle. Zander just pokes his head through the top of the covers when he runs out of air, looks like a little person.

Anyway, my wife had enough so we gave them the boot. They have nice accommodations in their crate, complete with their own bedding.
