Hi I have a 1997 F-150. A really nice truck. I followed some ones advice on how to disconnect the door alarm chime and it worked about 3 months ago. Now it chimes again and is helping something else kill my battery. Does any one have a diagram of the steering colum? Also the Temp gauge went out with the last owner and they replaced it with a gauge that is mounted under the dash just above the floor. It is lighted. Can this be what is draining the battery also? Please help I can only ask for a boost so many times before the people start asking why do I not get a new battery!!!
