I'm needing to put nerf bars on my 05 FX4 super crew. I'm torn between the westins and smittybilt. I'm wanting to go with which ever one tucks closest to the body of the truck. I've done searches on here but have not found that specific answer. Do any of you know offhand which one fits closer to the body?

I have the Westins on my 01 and love them. That is one of the big concerns I had also. I had a set of off brand nerfs on a Jeeep that hung too low, stuck out too far and looked like crap. My Westins tuck up nice and tight, but are still useful as a step. Hopefully the 04-08 model is the same.

 

I have a pair of westins and I think they fit just great on the side of the truck as wandell said
