Remove Grill

how do i remove my stock 2005 xlt fx4 grill without F'in up those stupied clips.. just want to put a fresh coat of paint on it

all the post in the past say use a blow dryer or heat gun and heat up the tabs so they bend a little easier instead of breaking

Yes be sure to do that. I removed my FX4 in favor of the Roush just a few weeks ago and heated all the tabs up real good before I tried to bend them. Just did one at a time, heated it up good, used needle nose pliers until it got good and warm so I could bend it a bit and then slid it out of the way.

I used a small screwdriver, and pried on them, never heard of the hairdryer trick

I used a small flat head screwdriver and small pair of needle nosed pliers.
