Alright, christmas is rolling around and my parents are bugging me about what i want. I am thinkin HIDs and i have been reading thru the threads but just want to make sure i do it right the first time.
so what i think i know
1.) i need the 9007 bulbs because i have an 03 f150

and thats it... now for the questions
1.) this will be able to fit in my stock housings? the reason i ask is everyone talks about harley and lightning lenses
2.) it says wiring is simple. is it really? i have wired up a cb and a radio before. am i qualified?
3.) torn between 5000k and 6000k on the lights. i dont want to have that "rice" look

Ok not one of the experts BUT...

1) i believe they just replace the bulb you have in there now (mine did in my 07) not completely sure however for the older trucks
2)I wired i myself and it was my first "adventure" under the hood with wiring or anything. wasnt hard at all simply replace the bulb ground the wires and connect to battery, then wire management of course. Mount the ballast wherever possible.

I got the 6000k wanting just a hint of blue and i think its just right maybe just a little more blue than i wanted orignally but i have no regrets. Super bright and adds a nice look to my black truck during day and night. (fogs for xmas from parents, ordered today ) anyway it all depends on how "blue" u want. i got mine from here : CLICK ME

Yes sir. The bulb will go in just like a regular halogen.

Yes they will. People switch to different housing to get a little better light output. You will be fine with the OEM's. The HIDs will still be very bright.

It's very simple. If you run into any problems there are tons of threads on it. Anyone of the members including myself will be glad to help.

Go with 5000k. Very white light and perfect for all conditions. I had 6000k and they were great, but after driving my buddies car with 5000k I was sold. They look great.
