A lot of it is preference but you can do what I did and search for any of those terms... "bull bar" "grille" etc. with the search command on this forum. You will get lots of threads with pictures and discussion about the different options. I just ordered Roush grill for my F-150. Good luck.

i have been doing alot of research on the bull bars, westin, romik ect. Can't decide on the chrome or black and westin requires minor cutting of the air dam.

08fx4u, i know you said white, but is it all white, or two tone white/gray? either way its all your preference if you like black or stainless/chrome. if you do black bull bar, do black wheels, black toolbox, dont go mix matching chrome and black it will look goofy.

its white with two tone grey on bottom, i have the factory chrome 20s. I have alot of black on my truck but also a little chrome here and there...I wish i could see the different bull bars on a truck like mine.

if you only plan on doing a bull bar go with chrome IMO. but if you plan on doing rims, tires, its all up to you. both would look really good. do you have chrome running boards? if so if you plan on keeping them on go with chrome. i can't think of any f150's on the site right now with a truck like yours that isn't stock. you basically picked a truck where either way it will look good as long as you stick with one or the other.

heres a truck with a black brush guard, and chrome rims, kinda give you a general idea on both chrome and black. its all i could find

I think the best grill out there for out trucks is the Roush grille from ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ROUSH...43656793QQrdZ1

It comes in chrome, which looks nice as it is, but you can easily paint over it with some krylon fusion satin black to make it black. Either way you can get it for $80 if you e-mail the seller and tell him you'll pay $80 shipped and you mention that your from f150online.com.

Here's a pic of mine.

Heres my rule of thumb...

FX4's should have no chrome.......unless it doesnt have DSG on bottom!!!
FX2 grille is best lookin w/o a doubt!!

With our FX4's you do not need to trim the air dam. Mine bolted right on. It was the 2wd one's that needed air dam trimming.
