52mm guage mounting locations

I want to put a 52mm trans temp gauge in and i know that the easiest place to put on is on the column, but i have the handle and my edge sitting there and I don’t want to clutter it. I can think of many other places to stick it.

Any one have any ideas on a place to hide it in the dash.

take out an air vent and buy a piece of plastic and cut it to fit in the slot where the vent goes...or just put it on the pillar
