i was wondering bc im going to go get some more paint for the exhaust and wheel wells and tail lights. so my question is what can i use to throw as an over coat to protect the paint or is that krylon fusion black on the wheel wells and badges going to hold up just as it is? also anything besides cleaning the exhaust and spraying? no over coat after that? will it hold up ?

 

i know im not Zeruin but use dupli-color high heat w/ ceramic on ur exhaust its
a 1200 deg pant

i used the same paint on my flares and badges also

 

i bought krylon bbq and stove paint and it says dries in 15 mins and 1200 deg thermo- guard protection is this the right one or no?

for sure and just to make sure the only thing i need to do is clean the exhaust tips and then just spray them right? i dont need any like clear coat after that or anything for protection?

 

it wouldnt hurt to wet sand the chrome tips abit before shootin them
i didnt clear coat mine .. i didnt think the clear would hold up to the heat
there might be a high heat clear then that would work i reckon

i went for the flat black look and didnt clear anything but the wheels and i only
did them for a protective coat
