ahh well it looked just like yours same wheels and blackedout.

But it had goofy lookin overlays on it that werent lined up very well. and said something that i couldnt read.

well... to tell ya the truth my hood is probably a lil different than yours. It is kind of weird.. if you look at the bottom side of my hood it is full functional ram air hood... but if you look inside the snorkel part. it is blocked off with rubber pads, and behind those is fiberglass.. im kinda confused to tell ya the truth.. I kind of want to cut out that, but would be nervous as to what would happen.

if anyone has any insights on that... would gladly take some advice, or know anyone who has had same problem. I could show pics if ya need... sorry to hijack thread lol

i had the same situation, my snorkel holes were covered with fiberglass too.. i had the shop cut the holes out. not sure why it was like that.

Yeah I've been wanting this hood for truck as well, just don't have the money right now... but it is awesome looking and really bulks up the truck.

how much that cost ya to get that done.. and did they say there would be any drawbacks? future cracking or anything.. look good after it was done?

hood with cutout of snorkel, painted and installed, PTM handles painted and installed $650

they said there wouldnt be any structural issues in the future for cutting the snorkel holes.

good deal... may look into gettin that done after winter.. I wanna try and find some vents to fit those slots too... i think would look real good
