Halo Headlight question!
Halo Headlight question!
I am looking to add Halo headlights to my 04 Screw. I am looking into the kit below but I figured I would ask on here to see if there are any brands you recommend or any brands to stay away from? Also, I am not very firmiliar with Halos, what all is needed to wire them up to where just the halo's come on without the actual headlights? Thanks, Matt

what he is saying is that they had to do a slight concave in the clear housing of the headlight to have enough clearance to fit the projector....so its like a outward sticking bubble in the plastic....
I looked at these same ones...the only problem is that with all aftermarket headlights (especially eBay knockoffs) they tend to fog very easily, so when you get them it'd be wise to add some silicone sealant around the edges in addition to what they came with. It never hurts, and they may or may not fog anyways.
If you're looking for awesome halos but don't want the projector style or cheaper aftermarket lights, a company called Advanced Automotive Concepts makes their own CCFL halo kits and has a kit for our OEM headlights (which I'm in process of installing). They usually sell for $250+, but I got mine off eBay from them for $99 and chose my color temp. They also have great customer service, as many of my non-Ford buddies have them on their Mopars and only speak of great things about them. Plus they are THE BEST halos on the market, and photos don't do them justice at all - as good as OEM BMW if not BETTER.

mine had no problem with fog build up and it rained quite a bit when i had them in .. install was easy there was a plug to go into where you would plug in a bulb and it runs to the aftermarket headlights halos simply tap into your power and ground from the headlight wires...
