A while back I started a thread asking about grilles, and yall helped me out and I've been pretty set on the FX2 grille. My truck is black, with grey trim on the bottom. Its an FX4, so it has the H style grille. Where would be the best place to get an FX2 grille, and is it just the insert? or do I have to get the surround too? I was hoping to just pop mine out, and pop the fx2 in. Can this be done?

Oh, and I just saw the Roush Nightmare grille for the first time today. Haha. Its pretty sweet. Is that an option to get? I like the black. Its my understanding that I have to get the FX2 grille painted?

 

Yes, they do not come painted.

 

I believe most of them come with the surround mounted on them that needs to be painted but not 100%

 

If I get it PTM, should I match the black on the truck? Or the two tone grey like the bumper? or another color. I am just trying to avoid silver or chrome. and do you know if i can just pop out the insert and switch it with my surround. sorry so many questions. I want to do it this week, so Im trying to find everything out.
